It was a late February evening, and I was building a watch kit that I had as a present for my 30th birthday. I became fascinated with the intricate assembly process and felt a sense of pride after first wearing my completed watch. I progressed to building a replica Panerai from parts I sourced online. I felt that same sense of pride upon completion, I was getting hooked.
I had the idea of designing my own watch, no kit, no replica parts. After weeks of internet research, I discovered a spectacular Damascus steel case like nothing I had seen before, its artistic wavy-like design catching my eye. I knew it had to be part of my design.
After searching for equally eye-catching components, and months of design talks with a manufacturer, I finally received my own Damascus steel watch. It more than exceeded my expectations.
I envisioned creating a brand focused on Damascus steel, and to be able to share my design with others who felt the same draw to this ancient artistry as me. To make this project a reality, I need help funding the first batch of production models.
I will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to generate funds. If you don't know how it works, in return for backing the project, you will receive a first edition production order, at an exclusive Kickstarter price.
If you're interested in becoming one of the first to own these watches, join me to bring this project to the world. Your support can make this vision a reality. Click here to sign up to the mailing list, and receive 30% off at launch
